My Book im working on (dreadful)
I am currently working on some Post-Apocalyptic novella! in a 4 part series of books, come explore the 'New world' in this perilous land. What is Dreadful? Dreadful is the name of my book, taking place after a Genetic alliterating virus decimates the entire world, leaving very few unaffected, the book hopes to explore the new world and culture around the beings that roam it, and how the surviving 'humans' contend with new races of life. Taking place almost 250 years after the original crisis, the genetic alterations have had time to diversify into thousands of new species, leaving humans, and humanity as a whole, at the bottom of the food chain. Books, Names, locations, and summary. Book 1: Dreadful, Arizona, Vegas, and most of southern america. Join Jim, a local scrap trader, in his desperate attempts to make a living for himself, watch as he battles against the trials of the wasteland, along with making new, interesting friends. and uncover a new threat from the north. Book 2: Outgunned Australia, Outback. Join Jango, in his attempts to survive the water famine that has crossed over the new world. learn of the mistakes made by the old world people, and uncover the secrets of the ancient ones. Book 3: Last stand, New zealand, Auckland, North island Join Jane, in her attempts to keep the new world from invading the last stand of Humanity, watch the desperate attempts of the last society to save those who are in need, only to find the murky depths at the bottom of the sea. Book 4: War. *nearly* worldwide. Join the original protagonists, and a few old friends, in the quest to salvation, Home, Areoteraoa. and suffer the wraith of the rigid war. So thats my basic summary of the books. So i could also do this. Factions, Groups, and races. The Banshee : Genetically altered, the banshee were once people, who's arms now have grown out into bat-like wings, allowing them flight. they are peaceful. The Rigid : Horrid Humaniods of the north, tall, blind, and incredibly powerful. Aggersive as such. The Collective: as the name suggests, a group of humans attempt to usher out humaniods from the world. The Xeno.Collective.front (XCF) a group of humaniods, and humans who seek to unite all sentient life. and many, many more. I'll be answering questions along with giving a timeline in the comments below. #Dreadful
