@ClaytonR aightu, i dont know what exactly causes it, it seems to just be a random occurence

@Kat143 I will see if I can replicate/fix with the tablets I have here at my disposal (both older and newer wacom tablets)

@ClaytonR using my mouse seems to make it stop, but it could also be me not noticing (im coloring with a big brush). also, i switched from mouse to tablet and it immediately did it 2 lines in a row. i think it might be my tablet now but i still idk
edit: nope, i just got it on my mouse too

@ClaytonR just tried that tip and it didn't help in the slightest. I don't know what might be causing it but i hope you'll be able to work it out. thanks for the help anyways!

Are you holding shift or any keys while doing this? Try tapping shift a few times...maybe the editor has gotten confused and thinks the shift key is still down.
