The story

A scratching noise, a flicker of a pencil being used on paper. A sketch partly made, the pencil scraping the paper with the pink, yet darkening eraser, covering the messy lines and slightly clearing them, their mark still on the paper lightly. After a few minutes of erasing, a loud eerie noise echoes from the table, the pencils ferrule scratching the paper with lines etching into it, as the eraser is gone with a blink of an eye. The artist looks up from the short pencil as a new shadow covers the paper, a person standing in front of them. "Hey, Devin." A slightly deep voice said, causing the supposed Devin to look farther up than just from the table, looking up to see gray eyes and a bright pale face. "Oh! Hey K.!" Devin said, the voice coming from the dark male very bubbly and the opposite of his "K." counterpart. Devin studied the man, his eyes traveling from the man's cross necklace lined with designs of hearts and other shapes, to the man's hair and face. K's face was slightly square-ish, and his hair was a dark gray, not from old age, Devin knew, since he saw the hair dye in his friend's house before when he came over time to time. The man also wore contacts, since K's eyes were more of a hazel like color, splashed with blue here and there as well. He heard a deep chuckle erupt from the man in front of him, and he focused back on what's happening in front of him with a jolt. "Like what you see?" K said, putting a glove worn hand above his hip and doing a fake sassy pose, his dark chuckle turning into a very loud laugh after they heard someone behind K. whistle loudly. K's laugh was very bubbly and very contagious, despite his voice and slight evil-like chuckle and looks. His body was bowed down as he held his stomach from laughing, hearing one voice laugh in the distance get louder as K. tripped while trying to walk to the person they heard. "Was that you, Pat?" K. said as he struggled to get up, and noting this, Devin got up himself, pushed his pencil in his pocket, and helped him up. "Not me." A shy voice said as the ginger-haired man who was asked walked towards them both, a blue and green striped scarf around his neck as his prescription glasses were in his hands, his steps uneasy. "It was yours truly!" A loud, bubbly voice like Devins echoed, stopping K. from dusting himself off with his hands and Pat to stop cleaning his glasses. A female came from behind Pat, brown hair dancing behind her as she gave a wide smile, her nails painted black as the top part of her face was covered with a slightly dirty mask, painted shades of gray to form the eyes of a smiley face. The mask was broken in the middle, and the top half was all that remained, covering the woman's eyes. "Cole!" Devin said, jumping from his spot beside K. to hug her, wrapping his arms around her figure as Pat scurried to the side to not get tackled by the man. Devin held her up and spun her, his grip getting tighter around her as he did so. Once he put her down, he gave a little kiss to her forehead and heard her giggle as he hugged her again, hearing K. fake gagging like the child they all presumed him to be. *More in comments*
